This policy describes how the MCO protects and makes use of the information you give us when you use this website.

Why we need your details

We gather and use certain information about you in order to keep in contact with you and enable certain functions of the MCO. We may also, with your permission, pass details to other UK Christian Military Organisations so that we can enable fellowship and prayer support amongst UK military Christians. The data that you provide will be seen only by the MCO or AFCU permanent staff unless you specifically choose to make certain items visible to other AFCU members via ChurchSuite.

How we use this data

Collecting this data helps us to keep in touch with you and support you better as a Christian in the military or concerned to pray for our military.

Specifically, we may use data:

  • In order to send out our mailings by post or email
  • In order to provide support to you
  • For our own internal records
  • To improve the products and service we offer
  • To contact you in response to a specific enquiry
  • To link you with other military Christians organisations or members in your locality
  • To enable other members to contact you
  • To send you information about events, opportunities and other things we think might be relevant to you

  • Opt-in to allowing other members to seeing information you choose to make available to them.

We will never lease, distribute or sell your personal information to third parties (except, on occasions, other UK Military Christian Organisations such as Armed Forces' Christian Union, Military Ministries International, Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Scripture Readers’ Association) unless we have your permission or the law requires us to.
